Welcome and Congratulations!

I'm thrilled to welcome Ms. Yubin Kim as the first trainee in our laboratory. Having closely observed her academic growth and dedication over the past two years, I'm confident that she will become an outstanding veterinary clinical pathologist and scientist in the near future.

2025 FASAVA

Yubin is currently leading two exciting research projects: (1) Investigating the inhibitory role of inflammation in bone marrow erythropoietic suppression in dogs. (2) Mapping the immune landscape of canine melanoma, with a long-term goal of developing novel immune checkpoint inhibitors for veterinary oncology.

Her enthusiasm for translational immunopathology and her scientific curiosity embody the spirit of the lab. We are excited to see her contributions to the field of veterinary clinical pathology! Welcome aboard, Yubin! 🧫🐾
